The dumpster fire of US politics.

Who is this national man of mystery and how did he achieve such a strong connection with the South Dakota establishment? To answer our question it will take a great deal of patience, work, and mojo, baby!

At the heart of all the angst in South Dakota is a reinforced political blogger named Pat Powers. Powers is influential in shaping future statewide policy as well as getting republicans elected or appointed to public office. He is also constantly attacking political opponents of his advertisers in a mostly sardonic and sarcastic tone chalked full of a smorgasbord of curated factoids and drive-by insults.

photo of people with signs at the Spearfish No Kings Event

Recently the NO KINGS protest movement swept the nation. Millions of people were rallied to make a statement about the founding principles of the United States, which run mostly orthogonal to the monarchic style of government. United States Citizens, for the most part, have a shared value that red is a very good color for British uniforms. Most of the folks turned-out to this protest to make a statement about their love of country and the freedoms we struggle to protect. Like the vast majority of attendees of the election integrity rally on 1/6/2021, attendees of the NO KINGS rally - in Spearfish, anyway - showed respect, intelligence, patience, humor, and good will.

Quicksilver book cover

This book has been all over my social media pages, it's been hyped nearly to death. When I picked it up I wasn't sure what I was getting into, to a certain extent because it's marked for new adults in the age range of 20-25. The intimate relationship between the main characters did not seem to flow naturally and how it should. There is a considerable amount of violence described in Quicksilver. The first half of the book kind of felt like Hart was just rushing through the set up but from there the pacing evens out.

Caution RF Radiation yellow sign

There are a lot of unknowns when it comes to RF radiation; the current safety standards for RF in the US are based on how much energy it takes before your tissues start heating up, they don’t take into account accumulated cellular and DNA damage that occurs before heating. Because of the uncertainty surrounding what constitutes safe levels of RF we need to be careful that we’re not polluting our environment with this energy. We need people who are interested in joining this RF safety conference.

We recorded RF levels on our way to and from and while at a soccer tournament in Rapid City. The exposure while at the sports complex was much higher than the drive which was included in the previous RAWR Report. We did adjust the safety standard to match the safety warning level on the RF meter. There are a variety of safety standards and they change regularly. The RAWR Report tells you the Realized Accumulated Wireless Radiation (RAWR) during a certain task or errand.

One of the most important hard-earned freedoms we have in our country is how we get to vote for our leaders. It's an honor to go to the polls, to identify myself, and to cast my electoral currency. One vote per person is fair; when things are fair, outcomes are real, and they can be trusted. This is especially important for our elections.
