The Good Hand Band explores a new genre of American music, fusing segmentarian genres, and promoting innovative, minimalist, free (as in freedom, not as in free beer), interpretive, acoustically based original and cover compositions, where perfection is the enemy, where we are not "cool", but we are REAL. John calls it F-IT, or the "fit" genre.
Originally founded by the Dale family, the Good Hand Band is carving out a niche within Americana based on consciousness about the connections between food, geography, history, language, and culture. Pictured: John Dale
